Strava on my watch

When I run With my husband who uses Strava on his PHONE I start a run on STRAVA ON my WATCH

We run together same distance but his Strava is saying he runs further than me.

we have run together and I have logged my run using my Phone NOT my WATCH and this way we get the same distance.

I would prefer to use my Strava on my watch but not if it is going to log shorter runs

what can I do if anything

Hey there Penelope2008,

It appears that you are having some calculation issues with your Apple Watch when using the Strava app. We would love to assist you with guidance to resolve the issue.

First, try restarting your Apple Watch: How to restart your Apple Watch

Also, make sure that both the iPhone and Apple Watch are up-to-date with the software:

Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Update your Apple Watch

If the issue is still persisting then consider unpairing the Apple Watch and reconnecting it back to your iPhone:

Unpair and erase your Apple Watch

Set up your Apple Watch

Also, we have included some information from the Strava Support page:

How Distance is Calculated

Why is my activity's elevation different than my friend's?

Hope these resources help you out!

Best wishes.
