MacBook Air 2020 Camera quality

I bought the MacBook Air 2020 yesterday and was super excited until I started the camera. I first thought maybe there is an issue with my camera and that is why it is so grainy. I googled and read a couple of threads about the MacBook Air 2020 camera's really poor quality. Just extremely let down by Apple. I used the MacBook Air 2017 before this and it was so good! This is just nowhere in comparision. I am a teacher and my main reason to buy this laptop is for my online classes and my purpose is absolutely not solved. Any suggestions on how do I process a refund for the same?
