IPAD CAMERA CONNECTION KIT DOESNT WORK! :( FREEZES IPAD AND RESETS

Hi, just bought my camera kit for my ipad.. i have tried multiple things, sd card, usb camera, usb iphone .. nothing shows up on the screen photos doesnt pop up.. nothing.. when i click an icon while i plug something with the camera connection kit.. it freezes the ipad and restarts by itself... what could the problem be???

Macbook pro 13" 2010, Mac OS X (10.6.4)

hi... i just got mine today.. and works perfect...perhaps you have a defect. i would go to the apple store.

At least you got one... what the heck is taking so long for these to be available to the average joe walking into a bricks and mortar store. Future Shop etc. can't even get stock. eBay is ridiculous with the prices, almost $75 with shipping from the US to the US or Canada. My Apple store doesn't have a clue when they are coming.

I bid on eBay and when the price goes over $50 I stop as this thing can't be worth more than $10 bucks. I don't get it.

Why havn't the iPad people made these available to the local Apple Stores or FutureShops etc.? Why make a product then not supply it? Grrrrrrr.
