Lost sound on notifications ie bbc
I used to get a sound when I received a notification. Now I don’t?
have checked sounds all seem ok. Help

We understand that apps do not have a sound with the notification on your iPhone. We'll be happy to help.
There are a few things we'll want to check for this. To begin, let's use the steps from the section "If you don't see notifications for a specific app" here: Use notifications on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch
This will guide you through checking a few things like Do Not Disturb and that notifications are enabled.
If it still happens, let's double-check that the sound option is enabled for those apps. Go to: Settings > Notifications > Sounds
Also, make sure the Ring/Silent switch on the side of your device is toggled to have Silent Mode disabled.
