Hi there,


I would recommend that you always use Apple cables or Apple certified cables. This is because I have heard of issues from using non-apple charging cords - Apple has all its cables certified to use and they are deemed safe by a non-biased independent company. However, non-apple cords don't have to be put through the same strict tests and could be dangerous to use.
