Show hidden files in systems information

My 2017 Macbook pro got really slow recently, and I was trying to delete some files.


I clicked the apple logo at top left -> About This Mac -> Storage -> Manage...


And I see that I have 36.94 GB of document related files, but the files it shows when I click it are clearly less than 36.94 GB. Is there a way to show the hidden files and clean up some of the junks?

Yes.but see if you can sort/files based on size. Should be in finder preferences , then view. Otherwise here’s how to do that...

could try cMd+ Shift+fn + . On the numeric keypad
