i cant install a softwere update after installing boot camp
For some reason I cant install any software updates after i installed boot camp because when it restarts it takes me to windows. how can i stop this?

Hold down the option key immediately after the computer starts the boot/reboot to choose the OS you want to complete the startup. You should see your bootcamp Windows partition there and select it.
I just did this earlier today, it was pretty wild to have to keep up with the 4 or 5 reboots, but even when I booted into macOS when I was late to press option, I just rebooted again and Windows was able to pick up where it left off.
