More than one photo library / Home sharing

How can I use Homesharing with more than one Photo library in my iMac? I have done it but only one Photo library is been shared.

Shared Photos Library for multiple (2) user accounts, is it possible? Good morning, I'd like to have additional Photos Library, (other than my System Photo Library), but I'd like to be able to share this additional library with some other user accounts. If additional Photos Library is stored either on the same Mac for example in /Users/Shared or some accessible volume on home network like afp://ServerName.local/Photos or similar is it possible for multiple (2) user accounts to have R/W access to this library and be able to import new photos, make edits, permanent delete of unwanted photos, etc. ??? Are there any special considerations or downsides of this approach? Of course I understand that photos in this library will not sync to iCloud and other devices, but that's fine, I don't care about this while workin with this additional Photos Library. Hopefully someone experienced in Photos will have an advice, have great day everyone!!!

So, if I turn off the shared library option do the photos return to their original place in photos on an iMac? I have recently turned on shared library on my iPhone so all photos are shared with my family and this has resulted in the photo application on my iMac losing virtually all photos from my personal library forcing me to log onto the cloud to view. So, if I turn off the shared library option do the photos return to their original place in photos on an iMac?

How To Share 1 Photos Library Between 2 Users On a Single Mac I would like to share one Photos library between two users on a single Mac with macOs Big Sur. I imagine to copy the Photos library to /Users/Shared/Pictures/Photos Library.photoslibrary Then give it the following access rights drwxrwxr-x Then both users will have write access to that library. I imagine the only thing that has to be considered is that one users has to quit Photos before the other one starts using it. Please, comment on this idea! Will it work? Are there obstacles?

No, only one library can be shared.

Yes. See Designate a System Photo Library in Photos - Apple Support. You can choose which folders of the library are shared.
