I have about 450 photos on the phone and the storage states that 3.19GB is being used as documents and data. Why?

-------

Videos and Recently Deleted:

A photo is in the megabytes (roughly 1/1000) of a GB. So, 300 or 400MB seems what it would consume. So, on your iPhone, open the Photos app, and see what resides in Recently Deleted and Videos.
