Apps wont update says password incorrect

Anyone else having issues updating apps? Mine asked for password every time and keeps telling me the password is incorrect.

iPhone 11 Pro Max, iOS 13

It sounds like when you try to update your apps, you getting prompted to enter in your password, but you're receiving an incorrect password error.


Have you made sure that the Apple ID is the same that was used when you originally purchased or downloaded the apps? If it's different, then you would need to enter in the password for the other Apple ID instead.


If the Apple ID is the same, then we suggest making sure you're able to sign in to other service with your Apple ID. ry signing in to these to verify the password is correct.


If you're able to sign in to these service, then reach out to Apple Support: Get Support


If you're unable to sign in there, then you may need to reset your password.
