Iphone 7 stuck at apple logo (Boot loop) and no progress with software update through itunes

My iphone 7 is stuck at the apple logo where it is constantly in a loop of booting and shutting down. I have followed the instructions provided by Apple support to update using my computer and itunes. It took around 7 hours to download the software update. After the download I have proceeded with the software update and for now itunes is stuck at "Preparing iphone for software update" and thought of quttting and restarting the software update process but I am prompted that that entails that I must restore my iphone. What do I do ? Will I lose my data ? Should I just keep waiting ? now itunes is stuck at "Preparing to update iphone" what do I do?

iPhone 7, iOS 13

Hey! Sorry to hear about your problem!

So, I do have a couple of things that concern me, one of them being that its an iPhone 7. Some iPhone 7 and iPhone 7+ devices can fall subject to an audio chip failure, which can cause the boot looping.

It can also cause Siri to not be able to hear you, no sound in videos, loss in functionality of Voice Memos, and can cause people not be able to hear you in phone calls. It can also cause a "No Service" indicator when you are near a cell tower.

If you can see, in iTunes, it says the serial number is n/a. You may want to try restoring again in DFU mode. If it continues to not work, then I would take it into Apple or an AASP and get it looked at.
