Hello makluvs2run,

We see that you're not receiving your texts and text alerts on your Apple Watch after verifying your notifications are set up properly. Being able to receive those notifications and messages on your watch is necessary when you are not able to open your iPhone or you're waiting on that message. You've come to the right place for help.

Are you receiving the notifications on your iPhone when you're not receiving them on your watch? This would be expected if that's the case. If your iPhone is unlocked the alert will go there instead of the watch. Should your iPhone be asleep or locked then the notifications would go to the watch. You can find out more here:

Notifications on your Apple Watch

If the notifications are not arriving in that manor reach back out to the community for additional help. Providing the iOS version on the paired iPhone and the watchOS will help in receiving an answer.

Have a good day!
