Where do photos go if you delete them off an iPhone via File Explorer on a Windows PC?

I was recently browsing through some photos on my iPhone using File Explorer on my Windows PC, when I accidentally deleted a few. I have checked the trash can on my PC and they are not there, unlike everything else I have deleted recently. They are also not in the 'Recently Deleted' part of my Photos app on the phone itself. Where have these deleted files gone to and how can I access them to recover them? I do not have Cloud, this is a Windows PC which was not previously linked to my phone or Apple Account in any way.

Also, why do the photos not get sent to the trash can like every other thing that is deleted?
