Documents & Sync is using my mobile data

I have 2 iPhones, both with the same Apple ID. I find that lots of data (>2gb) of mobile data has been used on both. When I look in Mobile Data, System Services is showing 2.9 gb. When I select that, it shows Documents and Sync having used up 2.7Gb.

I have turned off mobile data for Files and can't see what else could be using the mobile data.

Anyone worked out what is using up this data?

Hi Neilgoto10,

We understand you're looking to reduce your cellular data usage. We're happy to help.

To specifically stop the Documents & Sync category from using data you'll want to navigate to Settings > Cellular, then scroll to the bottom of the page and turn off the iCloud Drive option.

You can also find more information on managing your cellular data usage here: Check the cellular data usage on your iPhone and iPad
