CMD Q doesn't close the apps in iPad Air

Hi, I have 3rd generation iPad Air with 13.6.1 iOS.

I use the smart keyboard and just like any apple device, there is CMD-Tab and CMD-Q shortcut to "Quit" any opened application.

However, unlike how this command works in mac on desktop or laptop, these apps in iPad still stayed open when I swiped up the screen even if I just used CMD Q and closed all the apps.

Is this some type of bug or is this not supporting shortcut in iPad?

To see what shortcuts are supported, press and hold the command key.
