Iphone 11 Pro Max Overheating Since 13.6.1 Update

I'm having an issue with the phone overheating since this update. Suggestions?

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you're having an issue with the temperature of your iPhone 11 Pro Max after updating. We can help! Take a look at the following resource for acceptable temperatures, and situations where it can rise higher than expected: Keeping iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch within acceptable operating temperatures


A software update was recently released to 13.7. When you have a moment, back up your iPhone, then update the software and apps to see if that helps:


Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Update apps or use automatic downloads


After updating, use your iPhone normally to see if the issue continues. Keep us posted on the results.
