AirPods Warranty

I bought a new pair of AirPod off eBay. They were defective right out of the box. I contacted the seller and received a full refund. The sell did not request I send the AirPods back. Can I still get them repaired under warranty?

The message you got was accurate, someone requested a replacement under warranty and then did not return the ones they originally purchased. They are technically stolen. You won't be able to get Apple to service them, recycle them responsibly.

I have them set up for the left ear for play/pause and the right for Siri. When I tap the left ear nothing happens. When paired to my iPhone and I want to switch to my iPad they will not connect. In order for me to connect, I will have to go to settings and then "forget this device" and pair them again. The same for when they are connected to the iPad. Some times they will disconnect and connect again by themselves. I think the left AirPod is defective. I can change my settings and have the right ear be play/pause and works fine. But still have the issue of disconnecting and connecting by themselves. The AirPod are only a week old.

I just bought them off eBay and received them Saturday, August 29th.

I tried several times but I could not get it to take my serial number. I checked on the box and on the inside of lid of the AirPods and it kept telling me, the a serial number for a product that has been replaced. Please check your information and re-enter your serial number. If your information is correct, you may need to contact us.
