Has anyone found out what’s causing the extremely loud screeching noise that happens while being on the iphone? I was leaving a voicemail and suddenly heard an ear piercing noise that was so loud it made me toss it in the car seat and I cursed! It was very painful and loud enough to cause ear damage. It happened to me today and my eardrum is still sore and has happened more than once and I just got my new iPhone 3-4 weeks ago!

Thank you! I’m concerned because I noticed I’m not the only one having this problem. I started a new thread because the other persons thread who mentioned it seemed to not been active. I think I’ll see if I can get a different model type of iPhone .
