Music with LED lights

I want to play my music on my new LED lights but all it says is "music can't be played because of something called DRM and use iTunes plus"1. i don't what DRM is and also 2. what is iTunes plus and 3. why doesn't it work

DRM is Digital Rights Management. Content protection. Encryption.


Your music-to-light app can't read the music.


Try playing music you have rights to, rather than the DRM-protected “rental” music from Apple Music.


iTunes Plus is one path to non-DRM’d music that you own.
