Cant sign in or out of my Apple ID

I got a new Mac book pro recently and decided to make a new Apple ID for it. I went through the verification process and everything seemed to be fine.

I went to log on the other day and I got a notification that said “You can’t sign in because your account was disabled for security reasons” then a link to change my password.

so I go to change my password, but it won’t let me because “this user is inactive”

I thought I would just log out and use my other Apple ID instead but I need the password to log out. When I enter the password that I originally set it still said “user inactive” or something to that effect.

Im really not sure what to do about it.
