Signout from inactive apple id

I have a logged-in apple id, but when I click sign out, and enter the correct password, I get an error saying: "Your Apple ID is not active" and I can't sign out. I need to sign out in order to login with other apple id to my mac

My Apple ID got inactive and I forgot the password too, now I am unable to sign out the Apple ID from my Mac Pro. What should I do know? When I purchase my MacBook Pro I logged in when the Apple ID , but later on I did not use my Mac Pro for a long time. When I opened my MacBook Pro a couple a days ago the mentioned above ID was inactive. I forgot the password and now I am unable to sign out the above mentioned Apple ID from my MacBook Pro. I clicked on forgot password then further given the Apple ID but the system showed me that this Apple ID is inactive. [Edited by Moderator]

Can't sign out of Apple ID on MacBook Pro 2020 (M1) Hello, I click sign out in my settings -> Apple ID page, and it spins and spins and probably will spin for the next year without moving forward. If I force quit to try again, it does the same.

If your Apple ID says it's inactive you need to reach out for support from Apple directly -> Get Support
