Amazon vs. Apple Store
Why is it cheaper to make a MacBook purchase on Amazon? I can't believe it's the same with all the same benefits.

Amazon is an Apple Authorized Reseller. They can set their own prices. They sell new Apple merchandise that is the same as what you can buy directly from Apple or other authorized resellers -- but they also sell "renewed" (i.e., used), previous models and other merchandise. You need to compare very carefully before buying to be certain what you are getting.
