iPad keyboard

After the latest “update”, my iPad key split and is locked in 2/3’s of the way up the screen. Nothing that I do to join the halves and move the complete keyboard to the bottom of the screen works. How do I fix this?

Onscreen keyboard moved to mid screen - now unable to view item responding to...IPad pro 2016, last IOS16 update. Updated IOS16 recently (before IOS17 tossed me out of support chain). It was the last IOS16 update and the keyboard moved from native/always bottom of screen location to midway. This now overlays (obscures but allows entry from keyboard) anything I may be attempting to write until I hide the keyboard. I then need to bring it up to type further. This means a back and forth procedure that is nearly obscene. Is there a reset or known procedure to get this back to it's home position?

IpadOS 13 keeps shifting my split keyboard to top of the screen with four finger app switching is it possible to roll back to ios 12? Endless problems with the split keyboard has made my ipad unusable. Also why password autofill isn’t working on login to this forum?
