I am unable to use Touch ID on my phone and my fingerprint option in grey color in Touch ID options

Hi, yesterday when I am coming from hospital I lost my phone and After 20 minutes I got it from a nice guy. Soon after I got it from him I am unable to use my HOME BUTTON and unable to activate my TOUCH ID as well. When I went to Touch ID tools try to activate it it’s is not allowing and my finger print section is in grey color.

Please can anyone help me resolving this problem. Thank you in advance

Try Updating your iPhone:

Perhaps this got misconfigured somehow? So, update your iPhone, to fix these bugs. Perform this update using:

  • the iPhone itself
  • Mac
  • or a PC, even


How to do so....


Two Major Steps: - Backup then Update

1. Backup First: Make a backup of your device using iCloud or your computer
