Concerning PPT screen recording (or lack thereof)

I've been reading forums all morning, and it seems that I cannot use Microsoft screen recording to record my PPTs for lessons.

Is there any way to capture audio and visual simultaneously?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.13
