How the heck do you do it. I have a cricket SIM card and it’s saying not supported

Please give us some more background on this issue before you experienced it. Did you just change your carrier and therefore got Cricket's SIM card? If YES and once you insert Cricket's SIM card and it is not supported then that means that the iPhone is carrier locked. It is locked to the carrier that was active last on that iPhone. You will need to call that carrier to get the iPhone unlocked for all carriers.
