That's possible. iTunes App on iPad and iPhone is a store. If you want to use the computer version of iTunes, you will HAVE to use a computer or a Mac, using Finder.

Unfortunately there is no iTunes app for iPad, although the Apple Music app is almost the same. Sorry for the inconvenience.
