ipad gen 2 12.9" magic mouse compatibility

I have an iPad Pro 2nd generation 12.9” and want to use with a mouse and/or trackpad now it’s running on OS13.7. Apple website says Magic Mouse 2 and Trackpad 2 aren’t compatible with my model, but are for the smaller version of same model as well as earlier models. I’m confused! Will these Bluetooth devices work or not work with my iPad? Don’t want to waste money so any advice would be great!
