I am a Shipt shopper. Is there a way to hear notifications for orders while using Apple Car Play?

For CarPlay all notifications will be muted except for those apps that are part of CarPlay. The idea of CarPlay is to have the least amount of distraction possible. Shipt would have to make a CarPlay compatible version of their app.

I actually have the exact same issue, and am certain that having my phone on “ring mode” is not rectifying it. Whenever I’m shopping, I always have my ringer on and turned up to the highest volume, and when my phone isn’t plugged into Apple CarPlay, I have no issues receiving incoming shop offers (hearing them come in through a notification alert sound). However, when my phone is plugged into Apple CarPlay, I do not hear these offers come through with the same notification sound (or hear them at all) nor do they appear on the Apple CarPlay screen. I would LOVE to know if there is a way to fix this issue.
