Is anyone having trouble signing into iCloud on a browser?

Logging into the browser wants me to verify my email address then won't let me use my icloud email address with the me.com at the end, which I use for everything. This all started when my Windows mail client started giving me an error with my me.com account that I can't seem to fix.

I've done this before but now after i allow all requisite security stuff (codes and whatnot) it asks me to verify my email. However, when i put in my email it says i can only use the @me.com email registered with the account. *I know what the email is*... I can access everything on my phone and a Mac. I've tried @icloud.com (The application type specified is unacceptable) and the my apple itunes/store ID (different from icloud) and get a different message (This email address is not available. Choose a different address). Not sure what's up but i have no other emails registered and, again, i know what the email is -- have had it for 10 years if not more. Thanks

My me.com email disappeared and I cannot "restart" it I have been working on this for several weeks. After upgrading my HDD to an SSD, my me.com Apple Mail account disappeared. I have two Apple ID's, one based on Gmail (my original one, but not the one used for Mail) and an iCloud.com email that I use for my me.com email. My iCloud Apple ID was recently verified (after a 6-day waiting period) but when I try to add the me.com address using the iCloud instructions, the system does not recognize it, as shown in the screenshot. How do I get the system to verify this account?

Problems logging into iCloud email account with kindle What is required? keep getting an error message, using the me.com imap & smtp addresses with my Mac.com email address. keep getting a connection security warning message, there is a problem with the server’s security certificate (it is self-signed, expired or has a host name mis match. then keep on looping back to this page with no going forward. many thanks, Tim

I tried with Chrome on my PC and Safari on my Mac.

I haven't been having any issues using Safari. Have you tried another browser?
