I received this message after an update. The default interactive shell is now zsh.
To update your account to use zsh, please run `chsh -s /bin/zsh`. I checked in System Preferences and it shows /bin/bash. If I do need to change it how do I do it? in System Preferences or in Terminal?

Only really necessary if you use Terminal.
Doesnt mess anything up unless you wrote your own scripts

Run it in Terminal.
As Peter said, you don’t need it.
But for future reference: when asked to enter your password in the Terminal, you have to type it blindly, and then press the enter or return key. Nothing will show, but the password is read.

I tried to do it but when I pushed enter it said password with a key icon. It would not let me enter a password so I pushed enter anyway. And it said it failed.
Does Changing Login Shell from bash to Zsh mess things up on my MacBook Pro? Computer?
