Cursor capitals

Anyone know why my phone and iPad now default to a capital letter when I resize the cursor?? Thankf

Hello MattWallard,

It sounds like you are wondering how to stop your devices from auto capitalizing the first letter after changing the cursor size. Do we have that correct?

Thank you very much for answering. It’s not strictly that problem. It’s just that for some reason now when I re- site the cursor in any app it defaults to a capital, a bit like it does when you use voice dictation. I still want it to default to starting sentences with a capital but this seems new and either Apple have changed. something or I’ve managed to change something without realising it! If you can help I will be eternally grateful!

Thanks for those details. Are you using any additional keyboards? You can look under Settings > General > Keyboards. If not, try toggling Auto-Capitalization off and back on under Settings > Keyboards > All Keyboards.

Which software version are you running on your devices? You can check under Settings > General > About.
