Is iPhone 8 3g or 4g/LTE?

I understand that with the advent of 5G, 3G will no longer be available to provide bandwidth for 5G. Will the iPhone 8 become obsolete?

Which iPhone models support 4g or LTE versus 3g only? With the ATT 3G shutdown starting, does anyone know where I can find a list of the iPhone models that support 4g/LTE? I found this Apple page that has 4g/LTE and 5g models, but it only goes back to iPhone 11.

No because it should be using 4G/LTE which is not going away.
