Will my iPhone 11 continue to work? It doesn't have 5g

I an iPhone 11. My mobile service provider is Verizon. I understand the iPhone 11 is not set up for 5g. What happens if I do not buy a newer version of the iPhone, like 12 or 13? Will my iPhone 11 continue to work for internet and phone services?

Yes, 4G LTE will be supported for many more years to come.

Your phone should continue to work until 4G is phased out. I have an iPhone SE 2020 and I am in the same situation as you are. I believe Apple will discontinue supporting the iPhone 11 before 4G is fully phased out. You are safe for now.
