I would like to add additional iTunes libraries, how can I do this? The instructions provided, holding the control key and opening the application does provide me the option of additions another music library.

How can I add a new library to my iTunes application? This library is stored on another device.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.15

Basically yes. The Shift-Start (Option-Start) procedure lets you either create a new library, which will start off empty, or you can choose another existing library, which will include whatever contents it has.


Once you have multiple libraries, you can choose which one you want by using the same procedure.
