How can I add a new library to my iTunes application? This library is stored on another device.

Basically yes. The Shift-Start (Option-Start) procedure lets you either create a new library, which will start off empty, or you can choose another existing library, which will include whatever contents it has.
Once you have multiple libraries, you can choose which one you want by using the same procedure.

Stavros, You can start a new iTunes/Music library via Shift-Start on Windows or Option-Start on Mac,
This process does not add content. If you want to bring in songs from another source, you need to do so by copying them in.
Actually, I would like to link (bring in) another library into iTunes, so that I can switch from one library to another. How can I do this, I did this some time ago using the old APPLE operating system but now it seems that the functionality has changed.

In that same dialog, instead of "Create Library" pick "Choose Library." You can then navigate to the other library (provided it is accessible on that computer).
Thank you. I did not realized that is that simple. In few words this will create a new library which I can link it to my other library stored in a different misic server.
I would like to add additional iTunes libraries, how can I do this? The instructions provided, holding the control key and opening the application does provide me the option of additions another music library.
