Connect Iphone Xr with Apple's vintage iPod Hi-Fi speaker

Dear All,

I recently rediscovered my vintage iPod Hi-Fi speaker from Apple (the white Hifi pod from 2006-2007). The sound was great but now I want to connect my Iphone with that dock. I need to use the 30 pin connector adapter.

When the iphone is connected the green light of the dock lights up but immediately all the music stops playing. Therefore I think the problem has more to do with compatibility then hardware....

Could it be that the Iphone Xr does not recognize/accepts the 30 pin adapter and/or the dock?

Could there be a solution to make this piece of apple antique working with new Iphone?

Hi,

The Aux-is the only thing I found which worked.

(I know he referred to the Iphone, but that did not work, tried that before starting this conversation)

Thanks for your post! We understand you are trying to play music from your iPhone XR to your iPod Hi-Fi speaker. Have you tried restarting the device?

Restart your iPhone

Also, try unplugging the speaker, then attempt to connect again.
