Connect Iphone Xr with Apple's vintage iPod Hi-Fi speaker

Dear All,

I recently rediscovered my vintage iPod Hi-Fi speaker from Apple (the white Hifi pod from 2006-2007). The sound was great but now I want to connect my Iphone with that dock. I need to use the 30 pin connector adapter.

When the iphone is connected the green light of the dock lights up but immediately all the music stops playing. Therefore I think the problem has more to do with compatibility then hardware....

Could it be that the Iphone Xr does not recognize/accepts the 30 pin adapter and/or the dock?

Could there be a solution to make this piece of apple antique working with new Iphone?

Thanks in advance!!

warm wishes, benjamin

Thanks for your message.

But I'm talking specifically about the apple Ipod speaker from 2006. There is no restarting in this matter. For a picture, follow the link.

Perhaps it's too old to work with newer Iphones?

kind regards,

benjamin
