Will a wireless keyboard work with an old iMac desktop
According to the serial number you had posted, it's a 20" Late 2006 iMac. According to the Apple Magic Keyboard page, it would not be compatible.

There are many third-party wireless keyboards from companies such as Logitech, Matias, Satechi, etc. As far as which are compatible I can't say. You could always contact them and ask. If it were me, I would just get a wired USB keyboard which I prefer anyway.
You don't state how old an iMac or which keyboard.
