Photos.app: Photos are cut in one side and pasted in the other

Hello,

randomly some photos that I import from my Fuji XT-10 camera are cut in the left side and pasted in the right side as the photo shows. I can't find a way to undo this.. It simply ruins the photos!

Does anybody has this problem? The Photos.app is so unreliable...

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 10.14

Please read the following user tip and restate your question/problem in detail

Writing an Effective Apple Support Communities Question - Apple Community

1 - as a test launch Photos with the Option key held down and create a new, test library.  Import some photos and test to see if the same problem persists. Does it? (This tells us if the problem is limited to your current library or is more wide spread). Then try your current library again.

2 - log into another admin user account, Set up users, guests, and groups on Mac and and repeat #1 above. (This tells us if the problem is limited to your user account or is system wide).

3 - if still a problem boot into Safe Mode (How to use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support) by booting with the Shift key held down and open your primary library to see if the problem persists.  Reboot normally and test again.

NOTE: Safe Mode boot can take up to 10 minutes as it's doing some system cache cleaning, volume verifying and directory repairing.

4 - lastly launch your current library with the Option+Command keys held down and repair the library. NOTE: be sure you have a full and current backup of your hard drive and Photos library before repairing.
