Shuffling

It looks like your device is running an older software version at this point, as the current version is iOS 13.7. To help rule out a possible software issue, we'd suggest backing up and updating your iPhone to the latest iOS version.

Please back up and update using the steps outlined on the following page:

Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Once the device has been updated successfully, please try shuffling your music again, and let us know if that seems to have improved the issue.

We understand that only some songs are played when shuffling you music. We want to make sure you're able to listen to, and enjoy all of your music, and we want to help. 

To help us get a better understanding of the issue, we’d like to ask a few questions. 

1. Which device is this happening on, and which software version is it running? Find the software version on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod
2. If you use multiple devices, does the issue happen on all of them?
3. Are you using the steps outlined on the following page to shuffle your music? Repeat and shuffle music
4. Are you currently subscribed to Apple Music? If you are, does turning shuffle on in the Apple Music app directly improve the issue?
