Hi my mum died back in April this year & I stupidly the month before deleted all our messages together. Is there any way of transferring all our messages from mum’s phone to mine? So I’ve got the messages forever.

I am switching from AT&T to Verizon and using a new iPhone, SE 2020. AT&T signal disconnected before messages backed up to iCloud account. iMessages in old phone was not set to open to iCloud before. The messages since not been saved on icloud, then could not be downloaded to new phone when I signed in same iCloud account. Did tried iTunes app for PC, but unsuccessful. Otherwise, my old iPhone does not compatible with Verizon network to be able to swap new sim card to try original method.
Is there a way of transferring messages from one iPhone to another?
