Pages Table Headers get rid of '-1'

Hey there,

Trying to copy and paste a table already used in a document into the same document but whenever I do the title has an added '-1'. I try to get rid of it so the title is the same as the table already in the document but it keeps adding it again.

How do I get rid of this -1?

Thanks

There is no means to copy and paste (e.g. duplicate) an existing table into the same document without a numeric suffix applied to the table Title of the subsequent tables, regardless of the original table name.

Create a new table in your document. Copy the original table contents to the clipboard, and then select cell A1 in the new table, and paste. The original table contents have been duplicated, but the table title is now Table 2, if the original table was Table 1, and Table 1 if the original table had a different name.
