Mailer Daemon

Receiving a Mailer Daemon notice every time I receive an email, what can I do to stop. I am not sending emails to the account listed in the Mailer Daemon.

As I understand it, every time you receive an email you also receive a separate, apparently unrelated email from a "Mailer-Daemon". Is that correct?

The content of that message ought to explain what's going on. It may be the sender or recipient is not recognized or some other reason such as a misconfigured mail account.

If you want someone to investigate the content of that message and provide some suggestions, please don't reveal any personal information. For example, don't post your email address (or anyone else's for that matter), IP addresses, ISP name, email server addresses, etc. It may be difficult or impossible to diagnose that problem over this publicly viewable website for that reason, so you might have to contact your ISP for specific assistance.

An example of an email rejected because the recipient does not exist follows below.

 ----- The following addresses had permanent fatal errors -----
<xxx@xxx.net>
   (reason: 550 5.1.1 <xxx@xxx.net>: Recipient address rejected: xxx.net)

  ----- Transcript of session follows -----
... while talking to smptin.xxx.net.:
DATA
<<< 550 5.1.1 <xxx@xxx.net>: Recipient address rejected: xxx.net
550 5.1.1 <xxx@xxx.net>... User unknown
<<< 554 5.5.1 Error: no valid recipients

Deep within that example you can see where it states the reasons: "address rejected", "user unknown", and "no valid recipients".
