Mac HD Icon?

How do I put my Mac HD icon on my desk top in Catalina? Previous answers said to use sidecar in Systems Preference. My Systems Preference only has Sidecar no Sidebar. Thank you!.

Choose Finder Preferences...>General>Show these items on the desktop: ✓Hard Disks.
