My MacBook Pro was stolen

Hi, my MacBook Pro 15'' was stolen in 6th August and I notify the local police but the local police cant find my device because dont have mechanism to do that.

Find above the steps that i do when my Mac was stolen:

• Lock your Mac
• Active Play a sound

Now my Mac continue turned off or offline, and i still waiting to request a notification when it’s located. 

I want to know if Apple can help us (me and local Police) to locate this offline device.
