I received a email that I joined family sharing and I didn’t I believe for 3 yrs that my ex is in my phone with Apple as me...I only have this phone and no other devices but believe he monitors me and where I am on his device which I believe is connected to my acct How do I begin to or rather take the steps in the right sequence to get him out or delete family sharing to stop with

So your account is probably part of a family group...
Go to appleid.apple.com and sign in with the Apple ID and password for the account you want to remove. In the Family Sharing section, choose Remove Account > Remove.
