FaceTime glitch
Hi, so I got a call from my friends this morning on FaceTime. My friends didn’t call me, but it was their phone numbers. Is this normal? Or is it a glitch ?

We understand you received a FaceTime call from a friend but they state they did not call. We'll be happy to help.
To begin, it's possible the issue is on your friend's end. It may have been an accidental or an issue with their device.
While less likely, it's also possible that you could have received a call from a spoofed phone number. These are explained in more detail here: Recognize and avoid phishing messages, phony support calls, and other scams
If this continues to happen, we can definitely look into this further. However, it sounds like it may be one-off occurrence.
