Apple series 4 watch

COVID -19 has forced me to drop cell service I have Apple Watch series 4 can I still use my watch with XR phone through my phones WiFi or pane mode?

Yes it will work like a regular GPS model. Just has to have the iPhone nearby now to make calls. Good luck
