How to get audio working with HDMI cable using iPhone X and Apple Digital AV adapter? The following apps would not send audio: AppleTV , PBS Video, Locast, ESPN. It seems like the apps are not the problem but something in the software (or the device).

Turns out that one of the HDMI ports (the side port) on my TV—a Panasonic Viera—does not carry the audio, but the other two ports work fine. Problem solved!
