I have a series 1 apple watch that seems to be stuck in a loop. it shows a screen with two options. Erase all content and settings or cancel. If i choose cancel the screen changes to the black screen with an apple on it.

Hey marcregil,

It sounds like you're having an issue with your Apple Watch stuck on a loop asking you to erase it. We can understand wanting to get that resolved. We want to help.

First, if you have a case or screen protector on your Apple Watch, we'd recommend removing it to see if that helps.

If that doesn't help, we'd then suggest choosing the Erase All Content and Settings option to see if that resolves the issue. If you've paired your Apple Watch to an iPhone before, the data on your watch would be restored after pairing again.
