I have a 2019 MBP ... is there a line-in for recording? I have a 64 GB Ram 4 TB SSD ... and I can't seem to record audio directly into my MBP list I use to with my 2007 MBP ... please help!

There is no Line-In for audio. If you truly need that capability then get an external USB sound card. You will find them at Amazon. If you do not find one with USB-C connectivity, then you will need an adapter.

two RCA's to a stereo 3.5 mm out to input of a stereo 3.5 mm on the mac (like my 2007 MBP) ... I've got old cassettes that I'm digitizing... a friend just pointed me to RCA to usb C .... thats that game changer!!!
For what I have ... lame!!!!!! Another add-on.

USB is a line in. What are you saying? What add-on are you talking about? I can't remember any other audio in than USB on MacBook Pros.
